MSN EDUCATION GRANT
FOR NATIONAL DELEGATE

“MSN offers 40 education grants for Malaysian Society of Neurosciences (MSN) members to attend the MSN-AOCCN 2020 conference. Each awardee will receive a supporting grant of RM 500.”

Eligibility:-
  1. The applicant must be a current member of MSN.
  2. This grant is open only to postgraduate students, house officers, medical officers, fellows/trainees and allied health professionals studying/working in a university/healthcare institution in Malaysia.
  3. Applicants who have received other source of funding for MSN-AOCCN 2020 will not be eligible for this grant. If an applicant received an offer from other sources of funding after the application of this grant, the applicant must write to the secretariat to withdraw from the grant application so that the opportunity can be given to other candidates.

Application:
Applicants must submit an online application through this website together with an updated curriculum vitae (CV) and contact details of two referees, by SUNDAY, 1 DECEMBER 2019, 11.59pm

Evaluation:
All applications will be evaluated by a special selection committee based on abstract review scores and financial needs. Although Abstract submission is not a pre-requisite for the application of this grant, applicants who have submitted an abstract will be given a priority for this education grant. Please note the abstract submission deadline is on SUNDAY, 1 DECEMBER 2019, 11.59pm.

Notification:
Successful applicants will be notified after THURSDAY, 02 JANUARY 2020. All applicants are responsible to complete their own conference registration online including payment of registration fees. Applicants are encouraged to register early to enjoy the early bird benefits.

Reimbursement:
All successful applicants will receive cash reimbursement during the closing ceremony of MSN-AOCCN 2020 on SUNDAY, 12 APRIL 2020 at 2.00pm. Attendance to the closing ceremony is compulsory for all awardees, in order to receive the grant reimbursement.
